From November 4-6, York University is playing host to Bodyworks, a symposium linking sports, art, and culture. With free admission (registration required, though) there’s really no reason not to check it out; the program includes art exhibitions, film screenings, keynote lectures and panels featuring Olympic athletes and cultural activists, and even creative writing workshops for athletes – or those interested in sports writing.
