The Emergency Response Unit was founded in 2008 by Leigh Nash and Andrew Faulkner and is a co-operatively edited chapbook press based in Toronto, Ontario.

Our goal is to publish quality, affordable chapbooks that fill the space between one-off poems published in literary journals and full-length books. We’re attracted to the idea of poems not necessarily as a sequence, but as a bundle, and believe the chapbook is ideal for this type of presentation. Also, we want to make pretty things.
